Our journey began not in a boardroom, but during a quiet evening watching the Hindi film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. The story, set against the vibrant backdrop of Spain, sparked something deeper in us: a fascination with the Spanish way of life.

We were inspired by the country’s warmth, its celebration of simplicity, and its commitment to living well. As we explored further, we discovered that Spain is ranked among the healthiest countries in the world - not because of trends or technology, but because of its lifestyle. Mediterranean diets, strong social bonds, and a culture that values minimalism and joy over excess.

That philosophy resonated with us. As lifelong friends and creative collaborators, we’ve always valued intentional living. So we asked ourselves: what if a clothing brand could embody those same principles?

Nexo Alegre - meaning "joyful connection" in Spanish - was born from that question.
